Lorent, the 21-year-old pop singer from Lucerne, Switzerland, discovered his love for music and passion for singing in a musically inclined family. Playing the piano and sharing covers on social media helped him gain the confidence to expose his talent.

After completing his medical studies, Lorent showcased his exceptional talent in music competitions. He participated in “Stadt Land Talent” Season 2 in 2023 and “Deutschland Sucht den Superstar” (DSDS) in the 20th-anniversary season, securing an impressive 3rd place. His final DSDS song, “Complicated,” achieved over 1 million streams on Spotify and topped the iTunes charts, a testament to his vocal prowess.

Lorent’s performances include being a support act for Dieter Bohlen in Hamburg and Ludwigsburg.

The year 2024 was all about writing his new project and build his image. An EP is planned for 2025 in collaboration with Benjamin Alasu and Thomas Turner on the production and Argyle and Teya on the songwriting process. Lorent also appeared on “Deutschland Sucht den Superstar” 2024, which proved his strong following in Germany, and he took part in the SUISA songwriting camp for the Eurovision Song Contest.

Lorent's future in music is filled with exciting possibilities. He aspires to pursue a full-time singing career, aiming to touch people’s hearts and create a “safe space” for him and his followers. His significant goal is to represent Switzerland at Eurovision, a dream that promises to add a thrilling chapter to his career.
